As Regional Director for CUPE in British Columbia, Martina Boyd manages the day-to-day operations of the national union in BC, including oversight for all negotiations, litigation, labour relations, and human resources. Martina is a labour lawyer, and joined CUPE in 2008 as in-house legal counsel, representing CUPE members and locals on grievance arbitration, human rights issues, and various Labour Board matters.
Before being appointed Regional Director, Martina was responsible for coordinating provincial government relations for CUPE BC. Martina has been a trade union representative appointed to the Joint Advisory Committee of the Collective Agreement Arbitration Bureau since March 2016.
