“Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other’s eyes for an instant?”
~Henry David Thoreau
Lisa Singh is a professional mediator, facilitator coach and intercultural trainer who seeks to affirm others and passionately believes it is they who do all the work. As a creative, Lisa has donated her voice to advancing communication at all levels most especially in the arts. In addition, Lisa uses art, poetry, and theater as a tool in community facilitated dialogue. If others are connected, she feels she has done her job.
“Art is one of the most powerful tools we have to bridge our differences. Watching the delicate moves of a Balinese dancer tell a traditional story of conflict transcends words and yet, all who watch understand,” says Lisa. “We often forget the power symbols have and how much art brings these symbols into action in a way that words cannot.”
As a professional mediator, facilitator, and trainer, Lisa has provided services for large corporations as well as community and nonprofit organizations. “My mentor told me years ago,” Lisa says, “none of your training matters. What you do in life is all that is important.”
