Lesley Shebib has been mediating and facilitating for over 20 years. Her qualifications include a Master of Arts Degree in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University, a Certificate in Third Party Mediation from the Justice Institute of BC, and a QMed. designation with ADRIC.
Lesley is a strong advocate of resolving conflict well. She trains and coaches in the fields of communication and conflict resolution. She is on staff at the Justice Institute and runs a Fairway Divorce Solutions franchise, helping families transition through separation and divorce in a respectful, timely and cost-effective process.
Lesley’s background in conflict resolution is broad, encompassing Restorative Justice work and family and non-profit mediation. She is fascinated with the stories we tell ourselves and the impact these have on how we interpret the world around us. She gathers proverbs like other people collect stamps. One of her favourite sayings is “We teach what we most need to learn, and sometimes give what we most need to receive.” Gabor Mator
