Leah McIntyre, C. Med., Q. Arb., RRM, is a mediator, arbitrator, and restorative justice practitioner offering conflict resolution services remotely across Canada. She is recognized as a qualified parenting coordinator in Saskatchewan and an Approved Trainer for the ADRIC National Introductory Mediation Course.
Her background includes co-founding a successful consulting company that continues to operate globally with projects in Canada, Asia, Europe and South America. Working as managing partner for 12 years, her main area of focus was dispute resolution, collaborative restructuring and facilitating both internal and external negotiations across a diverse set of stakeholders and industries.
Now in private practice, Leah’s mediation approach integrates relational neuroscience to foster authentic collaboration in family, workplace, organizational, and civil disputes. She has a deep interest and understanding of high-conflict or complex situations, blending theory and practice to provide nuanced, effective, and practical solutions for even the most challenging circumstances.
Leah has a strong commitment to bridging communication and culture gaps across neurotypes. She supports professionals in developing accessible frameworks and integrating affirming principles into their practice, and has designed and delivered neuro-responsive training for family law, dispute resolution, policing, and medical professionals throughout Canada.
Leah also serves as a director on the boards of Mediate BC and the Hear The Child Society. Outside of her professional life, she is a wife, a mother, and finds joy in spending time with horses, being in nature, and practicing yoga.
