John has had an active career as a business executive travelling extensively in the Asia-Pacific region. Since his last full-time employment as a CEO of a China state-owned enterprise, jointly owned by Tamasek Group, Singapore Sovereign Fund and a China local government, he has been devoting his time to his twin passion of “peace-making” and sustainability.

In “peace-making”, John is a practitioner in arbitration and mediation. Besides commercial cases, he volunteered his time in cases relating to consumers, community and foreign workers.

John conducts mediation advocacy training for law students and legal practitioners, and conducts ADR training for business executives.

In sustainability, John is an adjunct professor, a qualified trainer and an assuror in the GRI Reporting framework.
