Diane Bell, K.C., is a senior mediator and Family Law partner at Clark Wilson, one of Western Canada’s largest law firms. With over 35 years practicing family law and over 30 years as a mediator for both families and business owners, Diane helps parties separate the people from the problems to develop holistic, practical and fair solutions that work.

Building on her extensive mediation, litigation and solicitor practice, Diane provides trusted, neutral guidance to parties through a risk analysis approach. She leverages her deep understanding of tax issues, complex business structures, offshore investments, trust law, estates and pensions, and family law to help achieve a resolution while also managing expectations and emotions when the stakes are high, whether it be a commercial matter, an estate case or a family law dispute.

As a leader in British Columbia’s mediation and family law communities, Diane is regularly sought out to speak and write to industry and public audiences. Diane is consistently distinguished by her peers across the country as a Best Lawyer® in Canada in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Family Law Mediation, Family Law, and Estates and Trusts. She is also recognized nationally by her colleagues as a Lexpert Repeatedly Recommended Lawyer®
