Brian Clauss is a neutral Arbitrator, Mediator, and attorney from Chicago. In his twentieth year as a neutral, he has resolved thousands of labor, employment, and commercial disputes in arbitration, mediation, and mediation-arbitration.  His practice is national.  

Brian is a popular speaker. He has done hundreds of presentations in the United States and abroad.  He is also a frequent author. He has more than twenty-five books, articles, chapters, law review articles, and practice guides.  Also an educator, Brian has developed a clinical legal program at a Chicago law school and a dispute resolution concentration for the University of Arizona. 

Brian’s ancestors settled on the muskeg in Alberta in the 19th century.  They moved to the US and British Columbia in the early 20th century. 

Brian and his wife, attorney Andrea Stulgies-Clauss, are principals of Clauss ADR, Inc.  They are bilingual English-German.
