Brenda Hooper is the founder of Discussions by Design Consulting Services, established over 14 years ago to help leaders and teams communicate with clarity, engage with purpose, and work together more effectively transforming how they support both internal colleagues and external partners.

A Chartered Mediator (C.Med) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Brenda brings deep expertise as a workplace mediator, national trainer, and executive/team coaching. Her interactive programs blend practical tools with a facilitative approach, empowering participants to strengthen leadership communication, navigate conflict constructively, and build cohesive, high-performing teams.

Brenda is a national trainer of the National Introductory Mediation Course through the ADR Institute of Canada and a certified workplace Mediator and Trainer (CMT) in Conflict Resolution through the Mediation Training Institute. She is the co-chair of the ADR Institute of Canada’s National Mediation Committee, and a Board Adviser for York University’s Certificate in Dispute Resolution program. Brenda received her Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University.
