Mediating Real Estate Conflicts

Yeda Hong – Panel Chair

August 14th

Turning to the courts to resolve disputes seems to be an almost instinctive reaction these days. However, the sobering reality is that lawsuits can be financially and emotionally draining for the participants, and can even impact our economy in the long-run.

Real estate conflicts that are suitable for mediation range from construction disputes to landlord and tenant disagreements.  Apart from costs issues, the pressing factor of time also makes mediation an appropriate venue for resolving real estate disputes.  In this webinar, the panelists will share their mediation experience in the real estate practice and how real estate disputes can be resolved through mediation without going to court.
