Mediating in times of COVID-19: An Introduction to Using Zoom for Mediation

Online Dispute Resolution is a growing field. And now, more than ever, it is important for Alternative Dispute Resolution Professionals to understand how to provide their services using technology. This Webinar will provide participants with the tools needed to start delivering Mediation Services using the Zoom Platform. During this Webinar participants will learn the features Zoom offers that are beneficial for Online Dispute Resolution Practitioners.

Participants will also receive important information about the precautions they will need to take to ensure they are providing a safe virtual space for their clientele. Upon completion of this Webinar, participants will be prepared to deliver Mediation Services online and will have the information for how to receive more training and practice with the Zoom platform if desired.

Presenter:

Demi Peters-Panko is a Mediator, Child Consultant, and Online Dispute Resolution Trainer from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She is passionate about providing access to Mediation Services to people from rural communities or with other barriers that may prevent them from being able to attend Mediation meetings in-person. This passion lead her to create the Introduction to Online Dispute Resolution Course to train other practitioners in this new and exciting area of practice.
