Course Policies

Course Cancellation Policy

In the event ADRBC is forced to cancel any course offering due to insufficient enrolment or other reasons, the student will be notified, and the registration fee will be refunded in full.

Course Completion Policy

To complete the course, students must attend every class of the course and pass any required assessments. Unless otherwise specified, if a course is offered in two or more parts, all the parts must be completed in the same session of the course. In the interest of fairness to students and instructors, deferral of a part of a course is not allowed.

Course Withdrawal Policy

All requests for course withdrawals must be submitted in writing to education@adrbc.com.

Note: For package purchases, the start date of the course will be the earliest course start date in the package.

  1. If the withdrawal request is received more than 30 days prior to the start date of the course:

The registrant will receive a full refund less an administration fee of $75.00 and 30% of the full price (price without any discounts) of the purchase will be retained.

  1. If the withdrawal request is received between within 30 days but more than 10 days prior to the start date of the course:

The registrant will receive a full refund less an administration fee of $75.00 and 50% of the full price (price without any discounts) of the purchase will be retained.

  1. If the withdrawal request is received within 10 days prior to the start date of the course:

No refund.

Course Registration Deferral Policy

Deferral of course registration is not allowed. However, in exceptional circumstances, deferral requests may be analyzed and approved by ADRBC at its own discretion if based on extenuating circumstances beyond the control of the student. The request must be submitted in writing to education@adrbc.com.

If approved by ADRBC, deferral of course registration will be allowed only one time. The registration can only be deferred to the next offering of the course. The registration fees will become non- refundable. The original withdrawal policy will no longer be in effect and the following deferral policy will apply:

Note: For package purchases, the start date of the course will be the earliest course start date in the package.

  1. If the request for deferral is received more than 30 days prior to the start date of the course:

A $150 administration fee will be charged.

  1. If the request for deferral is received within 30 days but more than 10 days prior to the start date of the course:

A $75 administration fee plus 25% of the PAID course registration fee will be charged.

  1. If the request for deferral is received within 10 days prior to the start date of the course:

A $75 administration fee plus 50% of the PAID course registration fee will be charged.

  1. If no request is received before start date of the course:

There will be no refund or credit for the registration fee paid and the deferral request will be declined.

NOTE: Students who defer their course registration will be subject to prices that are in effect for the session in which they are starting and not the session in which they were originally registered.
