Currently serving as a conflict management practitioner in the federal sector, Maria also maintains a private practice specializing in civil matters. With over 30 years of global experience spanning Canada, the U.S., and Europe, she skillfully blends keen insight, diplomacy, and consensus-building to deliver win-win solutions, leveraging her strong foundation in intercultural communication and DEI strategy.
Maria has provided strategic guidance to CEOs and senior leaders, transforming conflicts into opportunities for growth, relationship-building, and sustainable collaboration. Her significant contributions include her work as an investigator and ADR consultant for the Ministry of Labour and leading initiatives to enhance workforce diversity at the Ministry of Attorney General.
Maria holds a Masters of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University, a Bachelor of Laws from Romania, and a CDI.D designation from Corporate Directors International. She is a Qualified Mediator (Q. Med.) with ADR Canada and a Registered Roster Mediator (RRM) with Mediate BC.
