John H. Shevchuk Barrister & Solicitor, C. Arb., AACI (Hon), RI(BC) is Associate Counsel with Lex Pacifica Law Corporation where he provides services as litigation counsel and as a Chartered Arbitrator.  Since his call to the British Columbia bar in 1984, John has practiced extensively in real property related areas including assessment and taxation, lease disputes, expropriation and construction litigation.  He is a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada Appeal Committee.  John has been a frequent writer and lecturer for Continuing Legal Education, Appraisal Institute of Canada and Canadian Property Tax Association programs.  He is a regular contributor to AIC publication Canadian Property Valuation.
