Bebhinn McKinley is a dialogue, conflict prevention/transformation, and peacebuilding practitioner from North Antrim in Northern Ireland/ Ireland.  She is currently a member of the Women Mediators across the Commonwealth, Mediators Beyond Borders International and Mediators Institute Ireland.

Bebhinn is currently working in the field of Good Relations/Peacebuilding within Local Government in Northern Ireland.  Previous positions have included a posting with the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister to support the implementation of Together: Building a United Community Strategy, which was part of the Northern Ireland Executive’s commitment to improving community relations and continuing the journey towards a more united and shared society. She has also worked in Northern Ireland for Non-Governmental Organisations, including Community Relations Council, Rural Community Network and Women into Politics. She was previously the chair of a rural women’s group and member of Community Dialogue. Throughout these positions a core aspect of her work has involved meditating, facilitating dialogue and utilising creative approaches to explore conflict and peace at both a local and regional level. Bebhinn has recently acted as a mentor for women in Cameroon and also as a part time coach for Mediation Foundation Ireland. Bebhinn holds a Msc in Sustainable Rural Development, and MA in Irish Studies and BA in English and Politics.
