Vivian Kerenyi has a professional background in mediation, law and social work. With over 30 years of combined training and professional experiences, she brings a broad and varied mix of expertise to her work.
She graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Social Work and from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Laws. She is called to the Bars of Ontario and BC. She is a member of the Family, Civil and Child Protection Mediation Rosters with Mediate BC. She is accredited by Family Mediation Canada with the designation of Comprehensive Family Mediator and the Law Society of BC as a Family Law Mediator. She is a Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. In addition to private practise, she is a Chartered Mediator certified by ADR Canada.
She is a regular coach for the Continuing Legal Education of BC in the area of family mediation and she is a Senior Mediator with the Mediate BC Family Mediation Program. She also was a Mentor/Senior Mediator in the BC Provincial Court Small Claims Mediation Program throughout the life of the program from 1998 – 2015.
Vivian enjoys training/coaching and sharing her passion for all areas of mediation.
